Club Mark Corporation was founded in 1984 to address the growing need for industry
resources relative to membership strategies, recruitment and retention. During the high
club growth period of the 80’s and 90’s with high end daily fee clubs developed in
unprecedented numbers, Club Mark’s founder, Rick Coyne, accurately predicted that
private, member owned clubs, would be deeply affected by this precipitous growth
of public facilities and resultant competitive environment for a higher end golfing
experience.
Since that time, CMC has continued to lead the industry in providing professional
guidance to private clubs, in the provision of timely and informative educational
programs to the private club industry, and in developing strategies for over 700
successful client clubs.
The Club Mark executive team comprises well over 90 years of combined private
club experience spanning country clubs, city clubs, fitness clubs, tennis clubs and a
variety of specialty membership type organizations.
